- One of the three suits. Also called Craks or Wan.

- One of the three suits. Also called Dots.
- Concealed
- A set built in your own hand, not claimed from a discard.
- 🀄Dragons
- Red, Green and White. Honour tiles.
- 🀀East
- The dealer's seat.
- 🀢Flowers
- Bonus tiles. Draw one, lay it down, take a replacement.
- Goulash
- A round played after a wash-out. Tiles are exchanged; no chows allowed.
- Honours
- Winds and dragons together.
- 🀀🀀🀀🀀Kong
- Four identical tiles. Declare it and draw a replacement.
- Mahjong
- The call you make on completing your hand.
- Melded
- A set claimed from a discard and laid face-up.
